Floating Silt Barrier
The Floating Silt Barrier is a floating curtain type barrier which is used to trap sediment or floating debris from mixing with larger bodies of water. The curtains are constructed from 18oz vinyl / polyester fabric and feature a 410 lb x 410 lb grab tensile strength. The floating barriers are available in 50’ sections and can be connected together to create the length of barrier required for the specific jobsite. The floating barriers are typically held in place using 18-25 lb anchors (sold separately). The floating silt barriers are manufactured in the USA and are available in a variety of different curtain depths ranging from 3’ to 10’.
